It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Quintana of Lovington, New Mexico, born in Presidio, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Baltazar Franco and Maria Hernandez; her husband Ricardo Quintana Sr.; and her sons, Richardo Quintana Jr., Ricardo Quintana Jr. and Arturo Quintana.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Quintana, Maria, Manuela, Delma, Patricia, Marta and Alicia. She is also survived by forty grand children and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home (1106 N Main St, Lovington, NM 88260). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (1301 N 9th St, Lovington, NM 88260). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lovington Cemetery (600 W Gum Ave, Lovington, NM 88260).
