It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Eriberto Ontiveros Sr. of Lovington, New Mexico, born in Lasara, Texas, who passed away on March 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Ontiveros and Cecilia Ontiveros. He is survived by: his wife Maria Ontiveros; his children, Jose Ontiveros Jr., Mike Ontiveros, Rafael Ontiveros, Tommy Ontiveros, Cecilia Ontiveros and Julie Ontiveros; and his siblings, Frank Ontiveros, Andres Ontiveros, Jesse Ontiveros, Fay Tovar, Cruz Navarro, Connie Turrubiates and Maria Leyva. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
