She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Frank and Willie Bue Shivers (Melton); her husbands, Marshall Griffin and Shelby Gilmore; her brother Bill Shivers; and her stepson Michael Gilmore.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jana Gilmore; and her brother George Shivers (Sharla). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
