With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Petra Ortiz of Lovington, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Ruiz and Gumercinda Ruiz (Barrientos); her husband Natividad Ortiz; and her siblings, Candelario Ruiz, Lucia Derma, Florinda Ruiz Barrientos and Maria.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria G. Aranda, Martha (Gabriel Ramirez) and Sandra Ortiz; and her sister Manuela Ruiz of Nunez. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
