He is survived by : his wife Melba Greer; his sister Waynette Wooton; his son Scott Greer; his grandchildren, Cole and Elle; his daughter Kelly Dillard; and his grandchildren, Kristy Greebon (Cody), James Bud Dillard (June) and Annie Shirley (Theron). He is also survived by 3 great-granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, and 1 great great grandson.
