She was predeceased by: her parents, Stamford Challie Gray and Neeley Mankin Gray; her brother Stamford Challie Gray, Jr.; and her husband Ross Ligon. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Logan (Mark) of Texico and Karolyn Chavez (Donnie) of Magdalena; her grandchildren, Kaleb Brenem (Gianetta), Riley White, Emily Carlton (Quincy) and Brady Logan; and her great grandchildren, Kamren, Kashlee, Rankin Brenem, Kane and Keely Carlton. She is also survived by horses, and the many children.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Socorro Church of Christ (1001 El Camino Real St, Socorro, NM 87801). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Patsy Ligon Funeral Service. A reception will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Socorro Church of Christ (1001 El Camino Real St, Socorro, NM 87801). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Magdalena Cemetery (306 Main St, Magdalena, NM 87825).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home.
