He was predeceased by: his mother Mavis Maurine McWilliams; his son Doug Lee McWilliams; his father Ollis Conway McWilliams; his siblings, James Arlon, Malcom Lee, Travis Wayne and Alpha Arleta Fisher; and his grandsons, Bryan Charles Miller and Justyn Lee Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kay McWilliams of Mayhill; his son Joe "Tony" Anthony McWilliams (Neenah) of Timberon; his sister Beverlee Renae McWilliams-Melban (Charles David Melban) of Bushland, Texas; his grandchildren, Dylan Ross Miller, Kyle Lee McWilliams, Tyler Elizabeth White, Destiny Jean Pawley, Landon Duane Kearns, Cheyanna Worrell, Jenaya Velterie and Samantha Reinhardt; and his great grandchildren, Kytana, Oakley, Bryan, Rebekah of Tony Joe and Justyn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
