He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonia Madrid and Benjamin Madrid. He is survived by: his brothers, Toby Gonzales and Donald Archuleta; the mother of his children Elizabeth Montoya; his children, Lee Max Madrid, Melody Daye (Rome Daye), Mariquita Madrid, Amrit Mantar Singh Khalsa and Michael Madrid (Andrew Mullen); his grandchildren, Seth Daye, Jayden Daye, Donovan Daye and Amrit Garcia; and his brothers, Emilo Gonzales and Benji Madrid.
