With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Diane McMellen (Mesilla, New Mexico), born in Warren, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Diane left this world on June 20, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Diane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Diane leaves behind.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Starostka (Bill) and Angela McMellen Brannigan (Matt); and her grandchildren, Renata Starostka, Madeleine Brannigan and Quentin Brannigan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dozens of adopted grandkids and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the La Posta (2410 Calle De San Albino, Mesilla, NM 88046).
