He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen; his children, Brooke Ratje Gill (Jesse) and Paul Ratje (Aracely); his siblings, John (Margaret), Marcia (Richard), Jenny (Tim) and Mary Kay; his grandchildren, Connor (Clara), Amelia and Stella; and his great grandchild Carolynn. He is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM.
