She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Zuniga and Tomasa Zuniga; her husband Federico Avalos; her brothers, Felipe Zuniga, Tomas Zuniga and Adolfo Zuniga; and her son-in-law Ray Grajeda.
She is survived by: her children, Joanna Grajeda and David (Monique Avalos); her grandchildren, Marina Riley (Jesse), Tori Gonzalez (Alex), Anelisa Avalos (Fabian) and Katlyn Avalos; and her great grandchildren, Gabriella Burks, Josiah Burks, Aurora Gonzalez, Elias Barron, Elise Gonzalez and Zabias King Munoz.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Basilica of San Albino (2280 Calle Principal, Mesilla, NM 88046). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
