He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Maes and Eloisa Maes; his siblings, Francisco, Mary Gonzales (Claudio), Gilbert (Nora), Jennie, Joseph, Charles (Teresa), Antonio and Larry; and his son Joaquin Guadalupe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Maxine; his children, Genevieve Strasser (Louis), Gertie Vicenti (Kevin) and Paul Santiago (Kristin); and his grandchildren, Michelle, Gabrielle (Jack), Rebecca, Maddie, Oscar and Benjamin.
