With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Gonzales (Mora, New Mexico), born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther and Alex; and her brother Sonny Gonzales. She is survived by: her son Joseph Lopez (Tiffany); her grandson AJ Lopez; her brother Anthony Gonzales (Sheryl); her sibling's children, Adam (Danielle Gonzales), Kevin Gonzales, Amy (Waylon Fortune), Kelly Gonzales, Robbie Jacques, Alistair (Cari Gonzales) and Katy (Justin Schwartz); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason, Brynn, Jude (Adam), Malayna, Avery, Mayson, Matyson (Kevin), Josie, Jesse, Eliza, Caroline (Amy), Anthony, Kody, Kasey (Kelly), Aiden, Gracie, Xander (Alistair), Kai, Zayne and Sol (Katy); her goddaughters, Clarice and Clarissa; and also, Noah, Mitchy, Conner and Paige.
Viewing was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rogers Mortuary (600 Raynolds Ave, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gertrude Church (1 Church Plz, Mora, NM 87732). A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
