He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Pennington and Justine M. Pennington (Hulen); his wife Sachiko Sawai Pennington; his son Darryl; and his siblings, Marion E., Robert L., Anita R. and Joel.
He is survived by: his sons, Justin Pennington (Deborah) of Albuquerque, Robert Pennington (Dolores) of Moriarty and David (Yvette) of Tijeras; and his cousin Sandra L. Conroy (Michael) of Moriarty. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Memorial Park (700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106). A reception was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
