It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Pearl Cavasos (Moriarty, New Mexico), who passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bailey and Mildred Bailey (Jones); her husband Carl Cavasos; and her siblings, Ophelia, Viola, Wilma, James "Bud", Kenneth, Walt, Oda Fay, Calvin and Fran.
She is survived by: her children, Bonita Busse (Michael) of Quemado Lake, NM and Ernest Cavasos of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Christina Davis (Mark) of Santa Fe, NM and Carl Cavasos (Amy); her great grandchildren, Knox and Axl of Wilmington, NC; and her sister Maurine Young (Ronald) of Clovis, NM. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
