He is survived by: his sons, Tim Ortiz (Angela Ortiz) and Chris Ortiz; his grandchildren, Devin Ortiz, Katie (Conrad Truchly), Desiree Garcia (Joseph Gil) and Nick Garcia; his great grandchildren, Sophia Rose Gil and Dominic Modesto Gil; his brothers, Alfonso (Delia), John (Jeanie), Dimas (Jane), Rudy (Mildred) and Eddie (Joann); and his sisters-in-law, Jean Ortiz and Virginia Ortiz.
