He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Dawes and Olive Axton. He is survived by: his wife Marie Isaacs; his children, James Dawes, Susan Ortiz (Rick) and Linda Smith (Lee); his daughter-in-law Danell Dawes; his sister Phyllis Warner; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Wilson (Alan), Ingrid Isaacs and Pat Young.
