He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Tapia and Isabelita Tapia; his grandson Timothy Lundy; and his brothers, Fermino, Nick, Pete and Benny Tapia.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Tapia; his children, Vincent Chris Tapia and Michelle (Patrick Gallegos); his granddaughters, Stephanie Fuentes and Kristine (Eli Malizzo); his great grandchild Elijah; and his siblings, Mike (Barbara), Fred (Ramona), Santos (Helen), Jimmy (Georgia), Leroy (Rose Tapia), Jean Ortiz, Virginia Ortiz, Toni (Gillie Encinias) and Annabell (Steve Gallegos). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
