She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Trujillo and Porfiria Montano; her husband Lesley "John" Wharton; her brothers, Robert, Luisito and Clarence; and her grandson Michael Sevier.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Montoya (Chester) and Eloy A. Perea (Rachel); her stepdaughters, DeAnn and Paula; her sisters, Mary Louise Vigil, Levina Martinez, Gloria Montoya Silva and Julie Martinez; and her grandchildren, Brian, Katrina, Donna and Joey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the 21 St Joseph Church (45 Cedar St, Mosquero, NM 87733). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
