He was predeceased by: his parents, Esquipula Sisneros and Inez Esquivel Sisneros; his stepmother Francisquita B. Sisneros; his sons, Genaro, Leroy, Herman and Andrew Sisneros; and his grandson John Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Ernestina E. Sanchez Sisneros; his children, Robert, John, Gabriel (Yvonne), Mario (Eleanor) and Marian Gallegos (Al); his daughters-in-law, Vivian Sisneros (Leroy), Gloria Sisneros (Herman) and Sandra Tien Sisneros (Andrew); his brothers, Sylvestre and Abenicio Sisneros (Benny); and his granddaughter Aspen Willow Gallegos. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
