He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Woodrow Hofacket and Mary Lou "Dolly" Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Liz Hofacket of Nogal; and his children, Jeff Hofacket (Rene) of Lubbock, Colene Rice of Lubbock and Kyle Wheeler (Anna) of Las Vegas. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters and 9 great-grandchildren.
