He was predeceased by: his wife Feliz Gallegos; his parents, Rogelio Gallegos and Beneranda Gallegos; his sons, Joseph and Jeffery Gallegos; his granddaughters, Letisha Gallegos and Angela Romero; his siblings, Tillie Gonzales, Cecilia Romero, Betty Hernandez, Lisa Pena and Richard Gallegos; and his siblings-in-law, Lila Aguilar, Nancy Lucero, Flora Gallegos, Pauline Baca, Gilbert Montoya, Benny Gonzales and William Ortiz.
He is survived by: his children, Randy (Pam), Johnny (Carla), Dorothy, Robert (Jackie), Benny Jr. (Rita), Doris and Brian (Brenda); his brother Louie; and his siblings-in-law, Norella, Rose (Everette), Jose Pena and Gabino Baca. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
