It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florentino Montano Sr. (Pecos, New Mexico), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eluteria Montano and Florencio Montano. He is survived by: his children, Florentino Montano Jr. (Emily), Wendell Montano (Yolanda), Terry Montano (Carla), Randy Montano (Yvonne), Naomi Burciaga (Fidencio) and Amanda Velasquez (Rey); his siblings, Reynaldo Ortega and MaryAnn Rivera; his wife Emma; his son David; and his grandchildren, Lawrence, Lester, Yvette, Geno and Jenny.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Anthony's Catholic Church (11 St Anthonys Loop, Pecos, NM 87552). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Anthony's Catholic Cemetery (76-98 Cam Lomita, Pecos, NM 87552).
