He was predeceased by: his father Joe T. Chavez Sr.; his father-in-law Felix III; his grandparents, Celia, Estela, Pablo and Juan; and his pet Camila.
He is survived by: his wife Bonny; his children, Angelina, Alena Daniella, Elias and Liliana; his mother JoAnn; his sisters, Jessica and Jennifer; his goddaughter Jazmyn; his niece Jaylynn; his mother-in-law Josie; his siblings-in-law, Felix IV, Lorence, Audra and Beverly (Chris); his godmother Elodia; his aunts and uncles, Maggie, Irene (David), Becky, Corina, Juanito (Esther), Norman, Chuy (Janet), Peter, John and Monica; and his pets, Milo, Stoney, Kenai and Max. He is also survived by nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Parish (11 St Anthonys Loop, Pecos, NM 87552). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
