He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Garcia and Anita Garcia (Moya); his wife Theresa Margaret Garcia of Herrera; his son Brian David Garcia; and his siblings, Eloy Garcia, Jose Alberto Garcia, Guadalupe Garcia (Lupe), Julia Rodriguez, Isabel Martinez (Chavela) and Lorraine Duran.
He is survived by: his brother Ike Garcia; his sons, Gerald James Garcia (Tanya Garcia) and Harold John Garcia; his grandsons, David Eduardo Garcia (David Naylor), Alexandro Antonio Garcia and Alejandro Benito Garcia (Brianna Garcia); his great grandchild Jaime Aquiles Garcia; his granddaughter Gabriella Simone Garcia (Leanna Zubiate Garcia); his great grandchild Sofia Grace Garcia; and his granddaughter Ysabel Andrea Garcia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
