With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Olivama Atencio (Penasco, New Mexico), born in Chamisal, New Mexico, who passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Malaquias Rodriguez and Josepha Rodriguez; her husband Victor B. Atencio; her daughters, Victoria and Deborah Atencio; and her grandsons, Victor C. Atencio and Henry S. Velarde.

She is survived by: her children, Olivia Atencio, Edwin Atencio (Dolores), Noami Atencio (John Sanchez) and Della Wahl (Robert). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
