He was predeceased by : his parents, Rafael Vigil and Sara Vigil; and his siblings, Ruben, Cornelio, George, Eloisa, Ida and Jacinta.

He is survived by : his wife Lillian Vigil; his children, Dianna Berg, Lori Ortega and Joseph Vigil; his grandchildren, Robert, Edwin, Nathan, Rianna and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Aubri, Jacob, Ryan and Elijah; his great great grandchild Xavier; and his sister Maria Gonzales. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
