With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Orosco of Peralta, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Orosco; her grandson Daniel DeHerrera; her siblings, Lala, Albert, Monica, Mary and Eddie; and her parents, Eva Sanchez and Albert Sanchez.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Samaniego (Henry), Eva DeHerrera and Freddy Orosco (Rachel). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
