It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alonso Melendez Sigala of Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Esteban Sigala; and his brothers, Sergio and Apolinar Sigala. He is survived by : his close friend Amalia Garcia of Portales; his former life partner Mary Ann Munoz of Portales; his children, Alonso E. Sigala of Portales, Christian A. Sigala of Portales, Maribel Natividad of Portales and Elia E. Sigala (Elio Loya) of Portales; his grandchildren, Isaiah Sigala, Aliana Rodriguez, Jayden Rodriguez, Christian Rodriguez and Landyn Sigala; and his siblings, Aldegundo Sigala of Chihuahua, Ramon Sigala of Portales, Jesus Sigala of Hobbs, NM, Concepcion Sigala of Dallas, TX, Alfonso Sigala of Dumas, TX, Able Sigala of Chihuahua, Nicolas Sigala of Hobbs, NM, Manuela Sigala of Ortiz and Margarita Sigala of Molina.
