She is survived by: her children, Melvin Handy of Portales, Keavin and Patty Hudson of O'Donnell, TX; her children-in-law, Richard and Sonya Hudson of Zavalla, TX; her children, Deloris and Russell Richards of Portales; her daughter-in-law Gwen Wright of Shelton, WA; her adoptive son Michael Paul Koonce of Roswell; her grandchildren, Travis Hudson (Sarah), Joshua Richards (Danielle), Jacob Richards (Hannah), Tabitha Love (Kenny Love), Caleb Richards (Genna), Tiffany Weatherman (Jake), Tannon Hudson (Lauren), Nicole Hudson, Aubrey Latos (Thomas), Leah Simmns (Justin), Bethany Rawson (Jess), Derrick Hudson (Jade), Tyler Hudson and Sean Hudson; and her siblings, Lynn Wilhoit of Portales, Glynn Wilhoit of Portales and Jo Gibbs of Lone Oak, TX.. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Third & Kilgore Church of Christ (1701 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
