She was predeceased by : her husband Wendell Best; her parents, Ike Morgan and Nell Morgan; her sister Glenna Morgan Cooper; her children, Barbara Best Rogers and Monte Best; and her grandchildren, Arvin Lance Rogers and Heidi Kay Best.
She is survived by : her sons, Floyd, Kent Best (Sherri) of Portales and Kyle Best (Amy) of Arizona; her grandchildren, Wende Fraze (Wes), Barbi Dauer (Justin), Monica, Marissa Best, Halee Goff (Hayden), Ryan Best (Shayna), Reavis Bell (Michael), Lyndsi Donner (Sterling), Klancy Best (Kaysha) and Trey Best; her great grandchildren, Tayler Fraze, Toree Williams (Payton), Ashby, John, Jacob Dauer, Jared Dauer (Bella), McKinley, Kaydee Goff, Warren, Waylon Bell, Brayden, Connor Donner, Hondo and Jaycee Best; and her close friend Nina Jo Bilberry.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to be made to the Wendell Best Memorial Rodeo Scholarship Fund, ENMU, 1500 S Ave K, Sta 8, Portales NM 88130.
