He is survived by : his sons, Brandon (Melanie) of Portales, BJ and Matthew (Amy) of Lubbock, TX.; his wife Cyndi Owen; his siblings, Emmit Brooks (Betty) of Las Cruces, Eunice McFarland of Payette, Idaho, Colleen Stowe (Jody) of Lubbock, TX, Evelyn Schneider of Lubbock, TX and Jake Brooks (Cindy) of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, Brianna Brooks, Meghan Brooks, Tobin Brooks, Kambri Brooks, Isabelle Brooks, Rosalind Brooks and Nathanael Brooks.
