He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Guss and Edith Barrett Guss; and his siblings, Eugene Guss, Wayne Guss and Frances Curbello.

He is survived by: his siblings, Pauletta Curtis of Hobbs, Helen English of Jacksonville and Paul Guss (Carol) of Rogers. He is also survived by Family in Alamogordo and numerous friends.
