It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marco Jesus Lopez of Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Raymond Urioste. He is survived by: his parents, Amy Marie Urioste and Daniel Lopez of Portales; his sons, Ismael of Clovis and Mikael Lopez of Clovis; his grandparents, Glorie Urioste of Portales, Debbie Anaya of Clovis and Eleuterio Lopez of Clovis; and his brothers, Daniel J. Lopez of Clovis, Ezequiel Lopez of Portales, Pablo Madril of Clovis, Izaiyah Lopez of Portales and Nathaniel Lopez of Portales. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and other family members.
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (1600 S Ave O, Portales, NM 88130). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wheeler Mortuary of Portales, Inc. (500 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
