She was predeceased by: her siblings, Manuel Torres and Dolores Torres. She is survived by: her husband Maricio Chavez; her children, Maricio Chavez, Jr., Uriel Chavez Torres, Ulices Chavez and Reina Chavez of Portales; her grandchildren, Eric Chavez and Everley Chavez; and her siblings, Agripino Torres, Silvestre Torres, Martin Torres, Gregorio Torres, Gerardo Torres, Felicitas Torres, Socorro Torres, Tereza Torres, Vicenta Torres, Guadalupe Torres and Cuca Torres.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Iglesia Bautista El Divino Salvador (1098 NM-236, Portales, NM 88130).
