He is survived by: his wife Annette Oviedo; his children, Emilia Oviedo (Juan Benavidez) of Portales, Isabelle (Stephen Bustamante) and Kevin Ferguson (Alex) of Wishaw, Scotland; his grandchildren, Kimberley Ferguson and Grant Dingwall; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Landry Dingwall; his siblings, Lino Oviedo, Fabio Oviedo of Columbia, Gustavo Oviedo of New York, Hernan Oviedo of Columbia and Alicia Saldana of Columbia; and his pet Simon.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:00 PM at the Central Christian Church (1528 S Main Ave, Portales, NM 88130).
