She was predeceased by: her husband Jenaro "Jerry" Ruiz; her grandson Mario Hector Ruiz; her great grandchild Aspen Salazar; her siblings, George, Abelito Trujillo, Sandra Salguero, Elodia Trujillo and Estella Trujillo; and her brother-in-law Antonio Salguero.

She is survived by: her children, Henry Ruiz of Portales, Jack Ruiz of Portales and Percingula "Perci" Urias (Efren) of Portales; her grandchildren, Henry J. Ruiz II (Amy), Heaven Salas (Nathan), Jason Urias (Sarah), Christopher Urias (Mari), Abe Urias (Brandi), Andrew Urias (Donna), Jeremy Ruiz (Sarah), Justin Ruiz (Heather), Joel Ruiz (Jennifer) and Sam Ruiz (Emily); her siblings, Pete Trujillo (Amelia), Armando Trujillo (Diane), Leon Trujillo (Linda) and Florentina Trujillo; and her niece Leonor Alvarado. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
