He was predeceased by: his father Philip Salazar; his stepfather Calle Chavez; his brother Lawrence Torres; and his brother-in-law Poncho Cortez. He is survived by: his mother Mary Chavez (Edwina Salazar); his wife Edwina Salazar; his children, Antonio Salazar Jr. and Brianna Salazar; his grandsons, Philip Jamison Salazar and Mateo David Salazar; his siblings, Philip Salazar (Cathy), Richard Salazar, Rita Cortez, Benito Chavez and Julian Chavez; and his sister-in-law Sara Torres. He is also survived by godchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
