We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2024, at the age of 81, Don Louis Ortiz of Raton, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Amalio Ortiz and Celina Perea Ortiz; and his siblings, Viola Carr, Mary Harvie, Stella Cordova, Dora Duran, Ben, Eloy and Ted Ortiz.
He is survived by : his wife Judith Ortiz (Judy); his siblings, Margaret Coughenour and Paul Ortiz of Albuquerque; his child Mikal Ann; and his grandchildren, Alexandra Kawola, Samantha Diaz, Magdalena Aguilar-Ortiz, Xavier Ortiz and Zion Ortiz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Patrick's-St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 105 Buena Vista St. Raton, New Mexico 87740.
