He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Garcia; his parents, Jake Garcia and Florence Garcia; his parents-in-law, Joe Larry and Cordelia Bernal; his children, Cordelia Garcia and Joseph Garcia; his daughter-in-law Laurie Garcia; his grandsons, Justin and Kevin Garcia; his great grandchild Emiliano Garcia; his siblings, Jake Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, George Garcia and Auralia Ponce; and his siblings-in-law, Teddy (Paul Bernal) and Rebecca Salazar (Juanita Tafoya).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Garcia (Deann) and Lorraine Garcia (Leonard); his siblings, Ben Garcia (Shirly), Lloyd Garcia, Johnny Garcia (Jaunita), Josephine Garcia (Pete), Rosie Cardenas and Helen Benevides; and his sister-in-law Marcella Guara (Ted Guara). He is also survived by grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
