It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy David Phillips of Raton, New Mexico, born in Cuba, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Phillips and Alice Phillips; his siblings, Carol (David Lafferty) and John Phillips; his parents-in-law, Pete Portillos and Senovia; his siblings-in-law, Dolores Martinez and Tom Martinez; his niece Lanelle Martinez; and his close friend Bill Rupert.
He is survived by: his wife Erlinda; his son Jonathan; his brothers, Art (Gail) and Forest (Rhonda); his uncle Forest Fitzgerald; and his brother-in-law Andy Portillos (Alzada).
