Lillian Valdez-Maldonado Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Valdez-Maldonado of Raton, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Maldonado; her daughters, Beverly Vukonich (Daniel) and Aimee Feldman (Denver); her grandchildren, Kylie (Sean), Kaycie (Kevin), Kori (Dephen), Arissa (Dante) and Avery (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Jameson, James Joseph and Clyde; her siblings, Lucy Cronkrite, Sam Valdez (Elsie), David Valdez Sr., Lydia Garcia and David Valdez Jr. (Carol); her in-laws, Eloisa Trujillo, Frank Maldonado and Bernice Sanchez; her friend Linda Marquez; and her caregiver Robin Pilley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to John Zay Guest House.
