He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Green Brown and Iva Fay Coleman Brown; his children, John Wesley Brown (Theo), Debra Lynn Brown, David Brown and Walter Brown; his grandchildren, Keith Brown, Cole Brown and Ernie Brown; his great grandchild Quinn Ace Brown; and his siblings, Virginia, Catherine, Jerry and Lee "Booger" Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Brown; his grandchildren, Warren Brown (Jennie Gates), John Brown (Lynda), Dakota Brown (Kayla), Cheyenne Brown (Ray Tafoya), Conagher Brown (Alejandra Murcia), Jason Brown (Joelle), Kevin Brown (Jesse) and Clint Brown (Cass); his great grandchildren, Ivy Rain Brown, Orrin Brown, Abigail Brown, Jessica Brown, Lee Brown and Logan Brown; and his siblings, Dorothy Baldwin and Anthony Grisham (Patsy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home, Inc. (244 N 1st St, Raton, NM 87740). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Church (1310 S 2nd St, Raton, NM 87740).
