He is survived by : his siblings, Augustine, Estevan, Roberto Padilla and Merejilda Padilla; his grandson Gary Vigil; his great grandchild Tyler Padilla; his parents-in-law, Frank and Mary Sanchez; his siblings-in-law, Alex Sanchez, Connie Brooker, Julia Hurtado and Lydia Solis; his wife Mary Padilla; his children, Cosme Padilla (Terrie), Annabel Vigil (Dennis), Dora Gallegos (Steve), Monica Sena (Martin) and Maxine Padilla (Jessie); his grandchildren, Steven Gallegos, Amanda Gallegos (Tony), Martin Sena Jr. (Megan), Mariah Sena (Greg), Miranda Vigil (Johndavid), MaxxMarie, Jessie Lee Cordero, Cosme Padilla Jr. (Erin) and Jeremy Padilla (Tiffany); his great grandchildren, Bianca Gallegos (JD), Estevan Gallegos, Mickie Gallegos, Noah Sena, Myla Sena, Brielle, Gianna, NovaLee Deloris, Jayden Benavidez, Asura, Justice Griego, Logan Salazar, Shyanne Salazar, Braxton Padilla, Trenton Padilla, Lexi Padilla, Aunika Padilla and Ryker Padilla; his great great grandchildren, Ahlani and Ariah Yara-Gallegos; his sister Trinidad Tapia; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Sanchez (Ramona), Robert Sanchez (Josie), Arthur Sanchez (Joanne), Paul Sanchez, David Sanchez (Theresa), Andy Sanchez and Dora Sanchez.

A rosary was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the San Miguel Del Vado Church (1223 Hwy MM 3, San Miguel, NM 87560). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the San Miguel Cemetery.
