He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret (Harry Olmstead); and his brother-in-law Benjamin Hamblett. He is survived by: his wife Gwenneth; his children, Janet (Robert Walker), Mark Polhemus (Beth) and Trudy (Mark Stratton); and his siblings, Mary Hamblett and Philip (Rita). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
