He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thiele and Betty Thiele (Sankner); and his daughter Pamela Brandl (Petillon). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Thiele (Pavlovich); his daughter Beth Eckert (Steve); his son-in-law Eric Brandl; his grandchildren, Dr. Collin Brandl of Rio Rancho, NM and Emilie Brandl of Rio Rancho, NM; and his siblings, Celia Boyle (Bob) of Ashville, NC and Stephen Thiele (Beth) of Bradford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
