It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Neal in Rio Rancho, New Mexico is shared. Joan, born on October 12, 1941 in Seagraves, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Roland Montgomery and Billie Jo Montgomery; her husband Bill; her granddaughter Sharon Michelle Neal; and her daughters-in-law, Linda Neal and Janet Lea Neal.
She is survived by: her sisters, Paula Gonzales (Victor) and Patricia Spiller (Leon); her sons, Charles Bradley Neal (Janet Kavanaugh), Roy Alan Neal (Myra) and James Alvin Neal; and her grandchildren, Cory, Gary, Amy, Cody and Kailey. She is also survived by eleven step-grandchildren; and five step-great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the San Jose Funeral Home (10950 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
