It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tina Romero in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Frank Romero, Jr.; and her parents, Carlos Avila and Rosemary Hernandez. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Maldonado; her grandchildren, Gabriel Clark, Dominic Maldonado, Jr. and Ariana Maldonado; her siblings, Ernest, Michael, Martin, Joe Avila, Patricia Lovato and Lupita Avila; and her brother-in-law John Lovato. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
