It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adela Marie Gonzales of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Pelon Gonzales; her grandparents, Francis Lopez and Roman Lopez; her sisters, Maryhelen Armendarez and Martha Archuleta; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Ray Jaramillo and Catalina Nina Jaramillo; her nieces, Geneva and Tabatha Serna; and her nephew Eric Armendarez.
She is survived by: her mother Corine L. Gonzales; her siblings, Tom Armendarez, Joe Armendarez, Johnny Ray Gonzales, James Gonzales and Roseann Martinez; her children, Destinie (Brian Chuman), Desiree Jaramillo McMath (Lucia Contreras), Phillip (Eva Jaramillo), Cassandra (Liz Garcia) and Solara (Carlos Olivares); her stepdaughter Adriana Sanchez Tarango; her son-in-law Edward Garcia; her grandchildren, Robert, Johnny, Jusette, Jacob, Claudia, Clarissa, Shane, Nathaniel, Phillip Jr., Janette, Rose, Daisy, Elijah, Jordan, Aliyha, Jayden, Marco, Nicco, Jose and Dayton "Bubba" Gonzales; her great grandchild Ezekiel "Rayray" McMath; and her nephews, Ashley (Tiffany Armendarez), Arielle, Raven Gonzales, Diego, Alexis Gonzales, Thomas, Jade, Tom Armendarez III, Joey, Julian Martinez (Corine Molinar) and Tony "Nacho" Gonzales. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
