He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Hernandez (Socorro Hernandez) and Socorro Moreno Hernandez; his sisters, Elvira Perez and Luz Elena; and his mother-in-law Mariana Dominguez Santillan.
He is survived by: his wife Martina Hernandez; his children, Araceli (Ricardo Lozano), Jorge Hernandez, Alvaro (Norma Hernandez) and Laura (Sean Perry); his grandchildren, Monica (Gilbert Ornelas), Alejandra (Alma), Angel Pacheco, Abraham Pacheco, Arial Payan, Federico Antonio Payan, Jennevie Hernandez, Genesis Hernandez, Elijah Hernandez, Olivia Hernandez, Emalie Robledo, Ezekiel Perry and Amara Perry; his great grandchildren, Lucas Mendez and Sebastian Ornelas; and his siblings, Yolanda Perez, Alicia Ramirez, Blanca Duran, Mario Hernandez and Alfredo Hernandez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
